What Does Williams Agency Think About BP and The Enviroment ?

Posted: under Uncategorized.

If you’ve sent a referral our way recently, you were mailed a $10 BP gas card as part of our  “Thank You” for helping spread the word about our office. Your name also went in the hat for a $50 monthly drawing and the $500 yearly drawing.  So you should probably know why I chose BP for the cas card I sent you….

Just plain lazyness…you see, I’m not a real great computer whiz so I hopped on the computer and googled “gas cards”  Apparently, BP does get a lot of traffic because they must have been the first to pop up.  I’m sorry if it offends you that I sent a gas card from a company that will be under fire for their contributions to mass destruction of sea living creatures as well as many land loving creatures. I certainly am hopeful that BP will get their act together on this clean up and step up to do the right thing. Anyways, you get my drift on the gas card and I hope you’ll go ahead and use it.

Remember to refer your friends to my office for their pennsylvania auto insurance quotes and I’ll keep sending my thanks in the form of things you can use.  Thanks a bunch for all the kind words you’re saying.

Customer Testimonials

Posted: under Uncategorized.

When I retire and finally want some peace and quiet….I’ll hang a sign on my motorhome that reads ”Life Insurance Agent”  That should keep things nice and quiet around my campfires at night !

For the time being I’d have to say that I couldn’t have imagined a more rewarding career path. Although my college degree says something about Petroleum Engineering….I am sure the insurance business has been far more rewarding and challenging than any other job I could have chosen.

I opened my mail this morning to read four different testimonials that clients had written about their experiences at my office. Honestly, I can’t take credit for personally writing any of these four policies. The fact is…the ladies in my office do such a great job making every interaction a real treat…the clients don’t hesitate to brag us up to their friends and relatives.  When it comes to pennsylvania auto insurance quotes that kill the competition…the ladies in this office will knock down walls to find you a better deal.

You think I’m joking? Go to our testimonials page and see for yourself what happy clients are saying about buying car insurance from us.

When you want good service…as in “real good service” not “lip service” you need to try my office.

Did I Miss The Memo?

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Someone help me out here…

I realize I’m stuffed in this office most of the daylight hours….but….when did common sense and hard work get replaced by lazy freeloaders texting away while getting a paycheck?

Don’t tell me you haven’t seen the same thing I’m talking about.  The clerk at the mini-mart ? looking up from texting as if you were a huge pain in her ass for stopping to buy your coffee? Can’t you see she has important things to do? Like texting her tattoo guy for an update on her appointment ? Gees man, could you be a little more considerate next time?

Now I’m hearing talk of complaints, lawsuits from employees who have had their cell phones restricted by their employer…seriously? yeah seriously!  So…just so I’ve got this straight…I can give you a paycheck to support your family…but I can’t really tell you to get off the phone while you’re on my time? Alrighty then…sign me up.

OK one more pet peeve and I’ll get off my soapbox…hey, get your own blog if you don’t like it.

They’re replacing a bridge now near my home and I can’t believe the brain trusts that have planned this project. Here’s the percieved plan of action….

Step 1- block off the highway and re-route working folks 10 miles out of their way

Step 2- take a mini vacation for one week to rest up for the project- at least don’t be seen anywhere near the job site for one week

Step3- begin tearing out old bridge

Step 4- old bridge is now out- order materials for new bridge- absolutely do not order these one day prior to completion of tearing out old bridge

Step 5- wait 3 days to one week for material

Step 6- Materials show up for bridge, get construction going

Step 7- Bridge is built, now order guide rails

Step 8- wait several days for materials

Step 9- install guide rails

Entire time to install new bridge the spans 12 feet across a 4 foot wide stream- one month-give or take a week

Skip backward 60+ years to WWII and the bailey bridges that were carried in by soldiers and installed in one day. Skip forward again and some of the bailey bridges are still in use. Moral of this story ?

Well there’s my rant of the day. My apologies to all you hard working folks who actually respect your employer’s right to fire the slackers in an attempt to employ good, honest workers. And one more reason for me to be thankful for the hardworking ladies that make my office run smoothly day in and day out.

What’s this have to do with Pennsylvania auto insurance rates ? absolutely nothing, but I really needed to get that off my chest

Spring Car Care

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Battling months of snow and ice can leave your car desperately in need of some care and revitalization.  Procrastinating with routine maintenance could cause you to miss some early signs of trouble – leaving you stranded in the warm months ahead.  Erie Insurance Group recommends the following tips to spring your car back into shape:

  • Wash – Take time to spray the salt and dirt out of wheel wells, underneath the bumpers and underbody.  Salt build up can lead to rusting and erosion.  Repair any rust if necessary. A good shampoo can help remove the salt from carpet fibers.
  • Check Breaks– One warning sign is brake noise such as grinding, squealing or screeching.
  • Tires – Remove winter tires and rotate all season tires. Check the condition of your tires and air pressure. Having the proper tire pressure will reduce wear and tear and maximize your gas mileage.
  • Oil and fluids – Change the oil and check all fluids. In the winter, fluids are easily depleted as your engine works harder in cold weather. Test your antifreeze. It prevents your coolant from boiling in the summer.

Before the temperature rises, it’s also a good idea to check your car’s air conditioning and cooling system.  Performing routine maintenance on your car will not only keep it running smoothly, it will help you keep your cool no matter what the weather brings.

Pennsylvania Auto Insurance Quote… Gone to the Dogs

66C11 Pennsylvania Auto Insurance Quote... Gone to the Dogs

Chester's 17th birthday !

Okey Dokey then…. hey I’m 48 years old and thank God my high school english teacher is long since passed on…she would ring my neck if she saw my grammar.  How I made it through college english was beyond my wildest imagination.  Oh yeah Pennsylvania auto insurance quotes !

Normally I enjoy writing to my blog and putting up useful information for anyone who can use it. The second part of writing to my blog and creating those little blue “backlinks” is that Google gives me a tiny bit of authority for each one that is posted. So…you may have guessed the topic of this thread….just like an episode of Seinfeld…this post is also about nothing. Well nothing important at least.  Gone to the dogs popped into my head when I thought of my 17 year old lab mix who has been the best old buddy you could ever ask for. Heck…I took him out on the proch this morning to put him on his run and take his morning bathroom break. Well it was raining pretty hard so he decided to just pee on the porch !!! So….6:15am this morning while I’m using the carper cleaner on the porch…I’m looking at that old grey geyser and mumbling under my breath. Guess what ? We got 15 years out of him with hardly ever an accident. So I guess he’s entitled to a little “indoor plumbing” treat at this advanced age.

Alright, back to Google and the backlinks…. Pennsylvania auto insurance quotes seems to be a keyword phrase that many people type in when they’re looking for some rate quotes so….gotta do my part to keep up with that lizard, the cave man and everyone else that’s trying to get your business.  Next time, try us out and see if we can’t keep our streak of saving folks money going strong, maybe we’ll save you a few hundred or so.
