4 Simple Steps to a Better Insurance Score 

                                

                                

Step #1- Order your report from one or more of the leading companies, Equifax, Experian, Transunion and see if there are any mistakes                                                 

Step #2- Clear up any mistakes with the reporting company or creditors to resolve issues that may be affecting you…do this in writing                                                

Step #3- Close out accounts you haven’t used in the last six months or do not anticipate using in the next six months. These “Open accounts” can appear as a liability for increased debt by scoring authorities. Close these accounts in writing                                                

Step #4- Within a month or two the rating bureaus should have re-scored you based on your new position. If you score has increased, you could be eligible for a better rate on car insurance.
