OK… Let me honest with you…If I had a secret to getting the lowest rates for everyone I’d be retired, living on my residual commissions right now. I do, however, have some tips for getting the best possible deal on your pa auto insurance quote.
Firstly, you need to have decent credit…good credit is even better. Let’s face it, if you don’t pay your bills on time why should you be considered an “above average” risk to an insurance company…or any company for that matter. I’m not trying to insult you with these comments, just telling you the cold, hard facts. If your credit stinks, you’re best off staying with the insurance you have now.
Now…we’ve established the fact that you work hard at keeping your credit good and you’re responsible enough to pay your bills on time, etc. Statistically speaking..you’re less likely to have claims than other folks in the same age bracket, etc. so you might get a preferred rate on your pa auto insurance. “Might” being the operative word. Chances are, if you’ve been insuring with the same company for many years, you’re probably getting the best rate they can offer. Or are you ? I used to believe that story just like you…until I started doing the legwork and checking up on the companies offering these alledged “great rates” to clients. There were some companies who actually formed new divisions just so they could offer “new” clients an even lower rate to entice them into leaving their current company.
Wait just a minute here….
Offering lower rates to “new” clients than the clients who’d been with your company for years and years ?? No way… Well, it’s true…and more companies are doing it than you think. Just get a lower rate from a competitor and then call your current agent up and tell them you found a better deal. My guess is that they’ll come back with a mysteriously lower rate for you !! No kidding….what if you hadn’t told them??? You guessed it…they’d still be charging you the higher rates !
OK, test my theory…get a rate on your pa auto insurance from my site and then see what your agent has to say about why he’s been overcharging you for all these years.
