Just came back from an annual meeting with Donegal Insurance Group. As an agent who represents many different auto insurance companies I need to be constantly searching for coverage and percs that I can pass on to my clients. Imagine sitting through an insurance agent meeting…better yet…imagine getting a cavity drilled without any novicaine(sp) Good grief ! I thought it would be the same old boring insurance stuff.
Surpisingly enough, this little old company looks to be on a fast track to providing customers some of the latest policy features on their pennsylvania auto insurance. Comparing Donegal to some of the national carriers that I have in my office is almost embarassing….if you’re one of the major nationals ! First Accident forgiveness is earned in three years with Donegal…many other leading companies are 5 years and 7 years…and that’s only after 5 or 7 years of being insured with their company. Donegal gives you credit for your previous driving history with any company and will start you off right out of the gate with accident forgiveness on your policy. But that’s only half of the story…they allow you to recharge the feature if you have an accident and earn it back after three years. That’s almost unheard of in the industry. Obviously a company that is out to earn your business and keep your business.
Many other features and options were discussed and there’s no doubt this company is moving at warp speed with their improvements and innovative credits and discounts.
