If you are trying to get the best PA Auto Insurance rates you need to be sure that you can bargain correctly. Do not eliminate the features that can be important but try to get rid of the added coverage plans that are not required by you. These can help you cut down the costs associated with your Pennsylvania Auto Insurance.

There are various features that can help you bargain on the PA Auto Insurance rates and these are as follows:

  1. You can opt for a higher amount as your insurance deductible.
  2. Get rid of some of the optional covers as they might not be required at all: Imagine that you a rental reimbursement in your policy and you pay a premium for having that feature. This is completely useless if you have a couple of cars or any alternate mode of transport that you use when you particular vehicle is not working. Such an instance might be one in 2-3 years and you do not want to pay an added amount every year for that.
  3. In case the vehicle you use is old and most of the spare parts and repairs do not cost you much you can keep out the Collision coverage and Comprehensive coverage. With this you will be able to get down the PA Auto Insurance rates. This is advisable if you can pay for replacement of the parts because such thing happens once in many years and it might not be too costly if your vehicle is quite old.
  4. You can enquire about the various Pennsylvania Auto Insurance discounts that you can get. Most of the times companies offer these discounts to attract more customers and if you are a lucky one you will be able to save a decent amount of money.
  5. If you need good PA Auto Insurance rates it is important that you drive with a fair amount of caution because if you have a good driving record there are chances that you will also be able to negotiate on the PA Auto Insurance quotes you get from the companies.
  6. Keep away from vehicles that are prone to being stolen or are too costly to repair as these would mean you have to bear a higher Pennsylvania auto insurance amount.

Keeping in mind the above points as well as maintaining good credit will allow you to get a good deal when you go shopping for a Pennsylvania auto insurance. With the above points in mind you can also be sure that you’ll get the best PA Auto Insurance rates.

Your Pennsylvania Auto Insurance….Are You a Tightwad?

bigstockphoto money chains 672557 300x200 Your Pennsylvania Auto Insurance....Are You a Tightwad?

Okay, I get it…we all need to save money on our pa auto insurance! Especially in these tight economic times. Is calling 1-800-caveman the right way to go about saving? Good question…I’d be accused of being biased if I answered that. Another way to answer might be an analogy…would you rather have your car repaired by a 20 year veteran mechanic or a high school senior who needs a few extra bucks ? How about your skin cancer diagnosis? Your dental work?  Most of us want a professional to give us advice.

Every year I experience a client who is troubled with an exorbitant lawsuit. Maybe he/she pulled out in front of a car…bumped a parked car…invited a guest over and the list goes on. The result is an injured party who considers themselves entitled to a payment for their injuries. Sometimes what you or I would consider an insignificant injury gets blown out of proportion and you’re off to see your lawyer. Who do you think will be paying the bill ? You or I ?

If you’re carrying the Pennsylvania auto insurance minimum limits, you might want to get that policy out and take a closer look. Pa auto insurance laws require you to carry $15,000 per person in bodily injury liability and $5,000 in property damage liability. If you called 1-800-cheappolicy, it’s possible you received your advice from a 10 or 11 month veteran of the business. If that doesn’t scare you, how about calling back and trying to speak with the same person you spoke with originally !  Where you choose to buy your pa auto insurance is irrelevant, what’s relevant is the advice you get before you buy the policy. You need an experienced, knowledgeable, honest person who can steer you in the right direction. Someone who can give you guidance and explain how the extra $50bucks you’re spending can save you a world of aggravation in the future.

I think we can agree that you don’t want your neighbor…or anyone…backing up to your door and loading up your personal belongings. OK, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but you get my point. Losing a lawsuit is serious business. Not having the insurance coverage to pay for it is going to make it three times as bad.

So… my advice for the day…Loosen up the purse strings and be a tightwad on a few other items that won’t bankrupt you. Leave the insurance counseling to a professional and get the right advice.

It is very important that you have a cautious approach while taking PA Auto Insurance quotes as many a times the rates can be quite misleading. Many policies offer you a very small payment amount but you fail to realize that actually do not offer you much of cover either, this means that you are actually paying for nothing. Hence while you are on the lookout for Pennsylvania Auto Insurance you need to take into consideration several factors.

Liability Coverage: You have to ensure that your PA Auto Insurance quotes come along with this feature in the coverage plan. Liability coverage covers you for Body injury liability (securing your assets in case you are found guilty in an accident) & Property damage liability (helps to pay up for the damage caused to someone else’s property).

Moreover with liability coverage included in your PA Auto Insurance quotes you can be sure that the amount you spend in getting legal help also gets covered in the Pennsylvania Auto Insurance.

Collision & Comprehensive coverage: The collision coverage helps to pay up for the damage caused to your vehicle. While the comprehensive coverage included in the PA Auto Insurance quotes means that you have coverage for you vehicle in cases damage occurs due to natural disasters, it is also known an other than collision coverage.

Medical payment coverage: This covers for you and other passengers in the car for any kind of medical or funeral expenses. With this element the PA Auto Insurance quotes become more meaningful and then you can start looking at the PA Auto Insurance rates for the policies.

Other than the above mentioned major covers, you should also look up additional covers that can be quite useful in case you can include them in your Pennsylvania Auto Insurance policy. These can include:

Roadside assistance coverage: This helps to cover any kind of towing or labor or minor repair cost that you would incur while driving. It does not necessarily have to be an accident. This kind of coverage in your Pennsylvania Auto Insurance helps to keep away those small expenses which turn out to be quite huge when accumulated.

Costs more that the policy limits: This deals with covering the costs that are above the limits of your policy and the amounts that you are supposed to receive.

With all these aspects in mind you’ll know what to look for and what to avoid while picking a Pennsylvania Auto Insurance policy from the PA Auto Insurance quotes you get!
